In my 20+ years of professional software development experience I've had the honor of working with some amazing people in a myriad of industries. I've helped build systems in the education, heavy industry, real estate, automotive, finance, healthcare, and high tech industries, to name a few. I'm most comfortable in the .NET Stack using C# and SQL with over 12 years of experience in that space. I'm also adept at UI/UX design and user testing techniques. I also have strong technical writing skills as well as audio/video production know-how to create highly interactive user-training materials.

My Story
I've been a developer for over 20 years. I've always loved figuring out how things work and how to make them better. After college I started working for a software company that made learning games for children. I began to learn HTML while I was there and I was hooked on the idea and possibilities of the web. I started designing and building web sites for small companies which eventually landed me a job as a web designer with a start-up internet company based in Oak Ridge, TN. I would go on to work for another start-up which is where I really began to learn and grow as a developer and project manager. I took that knowledge with me to my first job with a large, publicly-traded corporation. I learned a lot about large corporate environments, but also realized there was massive room to make tremendous improvements on process. After 20 years of fine-tuning my craft, I'm ready to bring my knowledge and skills to my next adventure.
